Crossfire II 16G Tennis String

For the maximum in durability, Ashaway Crossfire II 16g String combines a braided aramid main string with a soft synthetic gut for a more playable response. Designed with chronic string breakers in mind, the main string provides a stiff feel and excellent control for very full and fast swings. The softer cross string of Crossfire II gives a bit of flexibility to the string bed for a small touch of power. Despite being a 16 gauge string, our testers found that the textured feel of the main strings as well as stiffer feel results in an incredible amount of spin with unmatched durability. This demanding string requires extremely good contact to achieve maximum playability.

Note: Ashaway recommends stringing Monogut 10-15% lower tension than the Synthetic Gut to account for different string stiffness levels.
